It is not acceptable to not include them in term of "Accountant".Some CA's are behaving like only they know about taxation which is an immature act. We all know that there are various expenses which are not really relevant to cost as well for the busines specially in private sector are booked as expenses & changed to P&L accordingly taxable Income get reduced.Hence govt.revenue get reduced. We are studying nothing less than of what CA students are studying in those two areas . But why are only CAs qualify to be a Tax Auditor and not us? It is unfair to disqualify us. Moreover in the Direct Tax Code Bill, 2013, we have been included in the definition of accountant and we also have been assured not earlier than 2 months before passing the new Income tax Bill, 2025 has been passed that, the Direct tax code bill passed will be enacted soon. But we are shocked to see that only CAs are included in the accountant Definition. This restricts professional practicing exposure of the members of our institute.
